OUTSTANDING! RARE NOWADAYS!
This specimen has only thin lip, and it seems not filled lip! In spite of, it is a stunning shell, very pretty and well sized for the species! If this specimen had a perfect tick lip it could cost nowadays more than 250 euros! So it has about 20% discount! This subspecies was known by the name C. eumitus (Tomlin, 1926) until recently! This form was over collected on past in a very restrict rich coral area, in spite of an area with plenty strong currents, then it become very rare and not collected nowadays. THE REAL THING! Fantastic quality on a very pretty classic one! Nice quality specimens were always rare. OUT FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION! FOR THE CONNOISSEUR! DON’T MISS IT! Závora area, South of Inhambane, South of Mozambique; dive 10-15 mts. 2020
