Dead taken always, with broken sinphonal channel but no drills. Big specimen and no longer available nowadays! This species it has been confused with Nassarius desmoulioides (Sowerby, G.B. III, 1903), but is definitely different, and was recently described see in Gili, C. (2024), Iberus 42 (1): 65-71, 2024! For specialist! Závora-Quissico, South of Mozambique, trawled 120-140 meters, 9/2001.
