P.O.R. STUNNING SHELL! WOW!
Exceptional quality with stunning beautiful and dark pattern typical for the nominative species from South Africa! Very pretty with very nice typical maltese cross design underlined by a pretty dark dots in the margins, and very pretty dotted base plenty of orangish tones! Perfect extremities! The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of this shell, because the light reflexions! To be conservative and for the exclusive experts in this family, I would say that due to a tiny grain sand near anterior channel, difficult to be seen, I’ll put a grade of “Gem-” (Gem minus) and not a “Gem”. Anyway is surely a TOP CONDITION FOR THE CONNOISSEURS! OUT FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION! DON’T MISS IT! Off Ramsgate, South Africa, dredged at 80 meters in a rich soft coral and sponges area, 2/2025
