THE REAL THING! WOW!

To be conservative, only a grain sand between teeth on base, hardly visible, otherwise Gem. Deep water form, unspotted margins and base, whitish base, fully mature specimen, (heavy shell) with nice typical malteese cross, superb coloration and pattern with nice well and typical design. Unobtainable deep water and rare sub-species, nowadays! Only from old collections! Much better seen in your hands! As well known, the real triangular shape (deltoidal) and massive form, extremely calous with convex base, no flat, distinguish this sub-species, characteristics well present in this particular specimen! Additionaly, in many cases those caractheristics are highligh by the absence of any brown dots on base, been white and so not spotted, meaning that they are from deep water areas (usually deeper than 200 meters!) while the other sub-species as massieri come from other areas not so deep (usually not so depper than 125 meters!). Here we have a SUPER SPECIMEN, well patterned with a pretty maltese cross. Extremely rare futoni form, top quality specimen! A must to have for an advanced and serious Cowries’ collector! Unobtainable species nowadays, except from old collections, because there are no trawlers working in the area anymore! Don’t miss the chance to put this rare sub-species in your collection! Super rare in any condition! Absent in the market nowadays! FOR SPECIALIST! Estimated price: the sky is the limit! OUT FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION! Absent even in advanced Cypraeidae collections! Trawled by the last Russian boats in the area: Off Quissico, South of Mozambique, trawled about 150-200meters, 11/2001 weigh 55grs.
